This presentation is part of a day-long symposium during “The Art of Fairy Tales Weekend” hosted by Morbid Anatomy & The Archive for Research in Archetypal Symbolism (ARAS). Take part in an immersive plunge into the enchanting art, myth, and imagery of fairy tales, to celebrate the publication of Morbid Anatomy founder Joanna Ebenstein's new book, The Art of Fairy Tales.

The event begins on Friday evening, with the ARAS Fairy Tale Fête, a night of wine, congeniality, entertainment, costumes, and frolicking in the shadows made possible by the fairy tale. Come in a costume inspired by a favorite fairy tale, a shadow figure from your own psyche, or a character you wish existed.

Saturday features the day-long symposium with a variety of speakers; there will also be ample opportunity to visit ARAS and the Kristine Mann Library, which will share some of their fairy tale-themed treasures with us.

On Sunday, be among the first to see Morbid Anatomy’s new collection of Victorian hair art and have another opportunity to buy books and meet the author at our newly reopened Morbid Anatomy Library.
